


A tenth season of the series aired in 2019. Macy supported Rossum in her negotiations, but she ended up leaving the series after its ninth season. Macy despite the fact that her role was much more central to the bulk of the series. She revealed that she was making much less than co-star William H. The series uses dark humor to explore the American lower class in a much more realistic way than previous blue collar series. The eldest, Fiona, serves as a de facto parent, but even under her guidance, the kids get into lots of trouble themselves. He can't take care of his kids, so they have to take care of themselves. The series is built on the problems of Frank, an antihero whose alcoholism gets him into all kinds of trouble.
